General Course Terms & Conditions
Please note that enrollment on our courses is subject to the following. You will be required to make full payment at the time of the booking.
Discounts and coupon codes are applicable to online courses only unless otherwise stated and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Offers are valid for the date shown on the website and only extended at the discretion of the TEFL Institute Limited management. A promotional code must be entered during checkout; discount codes cannot be claimed after enrolment.
All courses, material, content, tasks and certificates, are delivered online through the TEFL.ai website. Course study time is a standard 6 months for any course that you purchase. This is ample time to complete all sections of training on our most comprehensive course. If you require more study time, you can purchase this at a fee.
Please note: Learners have 18 months of total access to their course(s), starting from the date of purchase. This includes the combination of the original 6 months of access included in the course purchase and the total time of any extra course extensions purchased. After 18 months, access will be permanently suspended, and all progress will be lost. To regain access, learners must repurchase the course(s) in full and restart from the beginning.
Certification for the course is dependent upon achieving a pass rate of the following:
- 120 Hour Advanced TEFL course – 80%
- Generative AI in TEFL course - 80%
- Travel Influencer course - 80%
Digital TEFL Certificates – General
A personalised and unique digital TEFL certificate (PDF format) will be generated and available to download on successful completion of your course. Hardcopy certificates are not available for any course.
If you fail your end of module test, you have an unlimited amount of attempts to retake the tests/quiz free of charge. This refers to our accredited courses.
The level 5 government regulated course has a limit to the number of attempts during the reassessment process.

Orders & Purchasing
To purchase a product select 'Book Now' or 'Enroll now'. When you've completed this stage, view the checkout to add or remove items.
Completion payment can be via PayPal or via Stripe with a debit/credit card. You do not need a PayPal account to purchase with TEFL.ai.
To purchase a product through TEFL.ai, we need valid email, postal address and phone number details.
By placing an order with us, placed in English, you give TEFL.ai permission to use your contact details regarding your order. These details will also be used for any future relevant marketing by TEFL.ai only, and will not be passed to third parties.
Should your order fail to complete, TEFL.ai also has the right to contact you to confirm your order.
Transactions from outside the UK will show the currency of the country you are in, including during the PayPal checkout process.
Once the order is confirmed and funds have been received you will receive a confirmation of order via email, which will form the contract between TEFL.ai and the customer. This email will include that you are buying from TEFL.ai, product information, costs and link to TEFL.ai's full terms and conditions.
Refunds & Cancellations Policy
If for any reason you are not satisfied with the paid course you have purchased, you are entitled to a full refund within 14 days of buying directly on our site.
Note: Refunds issued under the 14-day cooling off period are subject to an administration fee of $35 USD / $45 CAD / £26 GBP / €30 EUR / R600 ZAR / $50 AUD.
You cannot get a refund on an online course if you have already reached as far as Module 3 or completed the course or out of the 14-day cooling period. You have 6 months to complete the course from date of purchase – please note, this is not when you first log-in to the course for the first time.
If the course is on flash sale/limited time offer cheaper than €30/£26/$35 there is no refund applicable.
Note: Refunds are only available for paid courses - not for free courses.

We aim to answer your voicemails, emails, live chat and all messages within 24-48 hours. Please allow more time during weekends and public holidays.

For TEFL training, email [email protected]. We will endeavour to reply to your request within 1 working day (Monday to Friday) to acknowledge receipt and resolve any complaints within 28 days.
We at the TEFL.ai have set out these terms and conditions to clarify the relationship between you, the website visitor, and TEFL.ai.
Under no circumstances will we share your information to third parties (unless it is an application to a school/agent), and we will take all necessary precautions to ensure that this information stays within TEFL.ai.
